Begun in 1639, The Henry Whitfield House, which is located on Old Whitfield Street in Guilford, Connecticut, is the oldest remaining house in Connecticut. On display are historical artifacts from the culture of early New England settlers, and a wealth of pieces dating to the 17th and 18th centuries.
Our site offers virtual tours of the historic stone house. The first tour is interactive, javascript-driven interface which allows visitors to explore the exhibits, and navigate the house. The second tour offers digital-video walk-throughs of the house, narrated by Mike McBride, the museum's curator. Click the forward arrow to begin!
