Creating a virtual tour using a slide-like presentation without resorting to numerous page loads/reloads can create a pleasing effect.       This page creates such a tour using images and text stored in arrays. For a practical application please refer to the Henry Whitfield Historical Museum. Select a Museum: [Guilford Title] Griswold House Hyland House Whitfield House There is an undesirable artifact in Netscape 3.0 in that once the directional arrows are displayed on the screen their image remains there even though the image source has been changed. If you resize the browser vertically the correct image appears.       As mentioned on the tutorials page, Internet Explorer 3.0 does not support image replacement.
